Stephanie + Frank ~ Old City Philadelphia Engagement Session

Photographed in one of my favorite parts of Philadelphia – Old City. I loved living there and I still absolutely love taking photos there.
I photographed Stephanie and Frank’s engagement session early September and there was no shortage of smiles and funny faces.
We took some fun pictures for the table numbers that will be used at their wedding as well – so fun!

Congratulations Stephanie and Frank – I can’t wait for your beautiful wedding!

Say hello to Lacey and Jorge who are getting married next summer! We decided to photograph their engagement session at Washington Mews, NYC which hosts both the German and French language buildings for New York University (NYU is also their Alma Mater); Gorgeous gorgeous location – In many ways reminds me of Old City Philadelphia and a small European town street all wrapped in one. Soju + Anish ~ Engagement Session

Last weekend was a busy one for me – and below is the outcome of one of the sessions I did.

Soju and Anish are dear friends of mine who are all around awesome people. Seriously, Soju is the sweetest girl I know. She always finds a way to pull you out of a bad mood by saying something nice (or silly) and sometimes all I have to do it look at her smile to feel better about whatever might be upsetting me. And did I mention she’s the best gift buyer? Their wedding is in a few months and I can’t wait to photograph it and participate as a guest!

Soju and Anish – you guys are a beautiful couple and deserve to be happy forever. Congratulations on your engagement and I wish you all the happiness and joy that comes with marriage. It’s almost here!

62 ways to make 2011 your best year yet and a recent engagement session

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of my time working on my projects, reading (thanks to the amazing kindle app) and focusing on the goals I’ve set for 2011 (deemed “My best year yet”).
Anyway, I thought I’d share one of my favorite web articles so far this year from the Do It Marketing website called 62 Ways to make 2011 your best year yet- I find it very inspiring and I’ve found myself coming back to it a few times. Below are some of my favorite lessons from this article -

Lift people up versus tearing people down
Give more than you receive
Protect your good name. An impeccable reputation takes a lifetime to build. And 60 seconds to lose
Measure your success, not by your net worth but by your self worth (and how happy you feel)
Remember that business is all about relationships and human connections
Be willing to fail. It’s the price of greatness
Remember that the more you go to your limits, the more your limits will expand
Plan as if you’ll live forever but live as if you’ll die tomorrow

On another topic, I’m reading “Pride and Prejudice” and enjoying it even though I know how it ends! Is anyone reading anything good? Leave me a comment on what you are reading – I’ll be looking for a new book soon :)
