Lifestyle Session ~ Baby Avi

Say hello to this cute little fellow – His name is Avi and his parents, Sai and Shippy, are previous clients of mine – I photographed their wedding reception last year before Avi was born and I was so excited to finally meet him. He’s 8 months old now and loved getting his picture taken. He even showed me his first tooth and how he reads his book :)

It’s a long post but I couldn’t help it – He’s too cute!

Susan contacted me because she wanted to get photographs of her taken. Just because.

I love sessions like this, where people celebrate who they are and their lives. She works as a school teacher and is such a charming lady. We met several months back and she thought I looked familiar though we had never met before. After talking for a few moments I found out she knew a member of my immediate family – such a small world.

The session took place in gorgeous Manayunk PA – a new favorite location of mine. Enjoy and I’ll be back soon with more updates :)

My new nephew – Deji

So as I slowly come down from cloud 700, I’m ready for another blog post! A couple weeks ago I took some quick photos of my new nephew Deji. He was two weeks old at the time (He’s a month old now) and I just love him and wanted to share some photos of him on the blog – you know how it is being the best aunty in the world and everything!( I know this because he told me thank you very much.)

Dear Deji, don’t worry, in a couple months when you are big boy, you can come with your brother Tayo for sleepovers at my house and we can watch TV, drink soda and eat popcorn and candy and stay up all night. Bedtime? What bedtime?

This has been one of the most fun sessions I’ve done this year! Emily and Ben are getting married this October and decided to turn their engagement session in a fun family session. Emily will be gaining 3 fabulous new step kids come October and they couldn’t be more excited.

Photographing them was so much fun! The session took place around the famous Philadelphia Museum of Art and the weather was gorgeous.

Last week I photographed two cousins – Jeff and Meara. They are related to a couple I’ll be photographing pretty soon and so I was more than excited to do a lifestyle session with the bride’s sister Meara and cousin Jeff. Today I’ve decided to post my favorite images of Jeff (who by the way is such a cutie with the most gorgeous smile). He’s a college student and I think he would make an awesome model.

Break in transmission – It’s Tayo!

Hello Everyone, my name is Tayo and I’m Aunty Onada’s favorite (and only) nephew (for the next two months)! We had a sleep over at her house this past weekend and I was such a good boy that my fabulous aunty is letting me write my own blog post : ) I was so good she let me drink half a glass of sprite, eat popcorn and pizza, stay up late and she even took my pictures. I was the perfect model (If I may say so myself) and I just wanted to share my favorite pictures with you. Did I mention my aunty is the most fabulous aunty in the whole wide world? I just thought I’d add that. Anyway, here are my photos -

Fab NJ workshop – part 2

Here are my pictures from shooting with Shannon Sewell from the workshop she had with Fred Egan. The little girl was so cute and playful – she made for great pictures! I took my editing a couple steps further here see below -

1. Cropped images
2. Added contrast (more than before)
3. Added some sharpening
4. Adjusted levels in photo shop for highlights and lowlights
5. uploaded images
6. Blogged!!!

Lifestyle: Hello, my name is Dami : )

Last summer, I shot a maternity session with Dami’s parents and they were so excited for her to arrive. Dami was born last month (a winter baby) and she is absolutely gorgeous. She is six weeks old now but I got to photograph her when she had just turned 3 weeks. Here are a few of my favorite black and white/toned shots from my session with Dami.
