Engagement Session: Nicole + Roosevelt

Here are some pictures from my banging session with Nicole and Roosevelt. We started off at the Kimmel Performing Arts Center downtown Philly (a totally fab location) due to the threat of rain. We did a few shots outside and then decided to hit up a bookstore for some fun but discrete (didn’t want to risk being kicked out lol) pictures. I had a great time photographing these two and did I mention Nicole is a huge Michele Obama fan? You can so tell from the pictures : )

Congratulations on your engagement guys!

And to think I was so petrified of getting my pic taken. Roosevelt and I want to thank you so much for a wonderful session. We learned so much and had a ball. The time flew by. And you posted one of my favorite pics (the black & white 4th down) – its one of our Obama-esque pics!!! Lol

Fab chic, colors, backgrounds, pictures. Great job! Definitely very Michelle Obamaish and looking sharpish! Love it all.

These are awesome!! Your work just gets better and better! I love all the different things you’ve done with these pictures. I love 4! 5 is awesome- LOVE the use of the artwork on the wall. The ones with the wedding magazine are adorable!! Love this couple!

I really like the black and white photos – think they are the best but my favourite has to be no 8 – the one where they are snuggling at the end of the corridor.

And her outfit was inspired. the colours pop against the back drop. Really nicely done Bola!

I absolutely love it! The backdrop at the Performing arts center is just a perfect contrast to her beautiful orange and purple! Absolutely FAB by all means. My fav is picture #7 (the couple on a sofa)- just timeless!

You do a wonderful job. I am always blown away by your work – you and Ayesha!

Good job gals!

Wow! I agree with Mark, great use of locations. Nicole dressed for the location! She is stunning and looks very elegant like your First Lady. I love all the shots but more drawn to the black and white ones. Good job, B. I am beginning to see you love stairs and doors…..Very cute setting

OseMay 31, 2009 - 7:54 pm

Awww! These are some really great shots and its hard to pick a fav. I really like the one where he lifted her up. In the shot where Nicole is sitting on Roosevelt’s lap, I was thinking that Nicole kinda looks like the first lady and then I scrolled further down and saw them holding a mag with Michelle & Obama on the front cover. Lol!
