Last month I attended a meetup for the Philly Photog Shootout group and It was a lot of fun. Despite the fact that it was blistering cold – I got to meet a bunch of really cool fellow photographers and take some really cool photographs. I would definitely encourage every aspiring photographer to attend events like this if only for the networking. I strongly believe that with small business it’s really important to network with others in your field as they can they help you out with things you might not know or are having difficulty with and there’s no harm in making new friends.

You are right Onada..networking is key. I like the shot of the “Bridal chic” on roller blades :). Also 3rd to the last. Nice!

Yeah I once thought networking was cool :-( until I went for a fashion one and almost cried. Honestly it was like a jungle in there! :-o shocked I made it out alive, but I leant a lot regardless!
