Engagement Session ~ Kerry + Chris

Meet Kerry and Chris. They are the most laid back and chilled out couple I’ve ever met. For their engagement session we went over to the Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Brigantine NJ – a very scenic location well known by Bird Watchers – like them :) - in the NJ area. Chris proposed to Kerry at this park and so it was the perfect spot for their engagement photos.

Fun Fact about Chris: He loves sunglasses and asked all his friend to bring him a fun pair of sunglasses to his most recent birthday party! One of which he wore for the session.

Finally! A full post from me :)

Say hello to Faisha and Leonard – I photographed their engagement session early April over at Washington Square, downtown Philadelphia and then we headed over to the Loews Hotels, where their relationship started after meeting at an event, to finish up the session. The weather was perfect and they were such a pleasure to photograph. Below are a few of my favorite images -

Wedding ~ Jessica + Jason

Jessica and Jason got married early April at St. Peters Church in Old City Philadelphia – The first service at St. Peter’s Church was held on September 4, 1761, and the church has been in continuous use ever since. There’s definitely a lot of history there and it’s a gorgeous church.

Their ceremony was very intimate with only close family and friends in attendance and after a small lunch reception Jessica and Jason headed off to an amazing honeymoon in fabulous Tahiti!

Below are some of my favorite photos from their special day. Congratulations Jessica and Jason and I wish you a happy married life!

Although the weather was nice and bright, It was bitterly cold. Jessica was a trooper and posed for a few shots without her jacket.

Lifestyle Session ~ Baby Avi

Say hello to this cute little fellow – His name is Avi and his parents, Sai and Shippy, are previous clients of mine – I photographed their wedding reception last year before Avi was born and I was so excited to finally meet him. He’s 8 months old now and loved getting his picture taken. He even showed me his first tooth and how he reads his book :)

It’s a long post but I couldn’t help it – He’s too cute!

Engagement Session ~ Biola + Kunle (and introducing little Zoe)

Say hello to my first engagement session of 2010! I shot this session several weeks back but wanted to wait for them to send out their “surprise” save the dates before I made the blog post.

Biola and Kunle are good friends of mine and they are getting married two weeks before me in fabulous San Juan Capistrano California! For a change I get to be on the other side of the camera as I’ll have a role in their wedding and I’m pretty excited about it : )

It’s always nice to have someone share the same amazing experiences as you at the same time i.e. wedding planning – Biola and I have been dress shopping together, gone on online shoe stalking missions, discussed DIY projects and have generally had a lot of fun so far planning our weddings.

Their engagement session was a lot of fun and took place close to the Philadelphia Art Museum along Boat House Row in Philadelphia which is a historic site located on the east bank of the Schuylkill that consists of a row of boathouses housing racing shells (It looks absolutely gorgeous at night). I love how the pictures look like it was a nice and warm day when in actual fact were were freezing!

Congratulations Biola and Kunle – I’m so excited for you guys and I can’t wait to be a part of your special day – Love you loads :)

I’m so excited to see my work featured again so soon and this time on MoiraeAffairs.com!

Sherry, one of the co-founders, sent me an email a couple weeks back saying they would like to include my work in a feature on their blog in celebration of Black History Month and so of course I said Yes! and told Sherry how excited I was! Wedding: Christina + Rich

Christina and Rich’s wedding was the last wedding I shot in 2009. They got married in an intimate late evening ceremony at David’s country Inn in Hackettsown NJ and celebrated with cocktails and dinner with their closest family and friends. It was raining that evening and pretty dark outside so we did all of their pictures inside prior to their ceremony. Christina was a gorgeous bride and I just love the bridal portraits I captured of her – check out a few of my favorite images below.

Now that I’m finally done with posting my 2009 images – I’m officially ready for 2010 :) – Stay tuned!
