Lifestyle Session ~ Baby Avi

Say hello to this cute little fellow – His name is Avi and his parents, Sai and Shippy, are previous clients of mine – I photographed their wedding reception last year before Avi was born and I was so excited to finally meet him. He’s 8 months old now and loved getting his picture taken. He even showed me his first tooth and how he reads his book :)

It’s a long post but I couldn’t help it – He’s too cute!

The Bride’s Cafe is one of my favorite wedding planning blogs and I visit it everyday – It’s on my list of favorite wedding blogs that I posted here on the photoblog and also on my look book. Just Because: Susan

Susan contacted me because she wanted to get photographs of her taken. Just because.

I love sessions like this, where people celebrate who they are and their lives. She works as a school teacher and is such a charming lady. We met several months back and she thought I looked familiar though we had never met before. After talking for a few moments I found out she knew a member of my immediate family – such a small world.

The session took place in gorgeous Manayunk PA – a new favorite location of mine. Enjoy and I’ll be back soon with more updates :)

My new nephew – Deji

So as I slowly come down from cloud 700, I’m ready for another blog post! A couple weeks ago I took some quick photos of my new nephew Deji. He was two weeks old at the time (He’s a month old now) and I just love him and wanted to share some photos of him on the blog – you know how it is being the best aunty in the world and everything!( I know this because he told me thank you very much.)

Dear Deji, don’t worry, in a couple months when you are big boy, you can come with your brother Tayo for sleepovers at my house and we can watch TV, drink soda and eat popcorn and candy and stay up all night. Bedtime? What bedtime?

Remember little Tayo (who also tells me I’m the best aunty in the world)? Well he’s not so little anymore and as to this picture all I can say is birds of a feather….

Little DJ fell asleep just as fast as he woke up!
