Happy new year everyone - It’s 2012 and I’m so excited!

Last year I challenged myself both personally and work wise which helped me stay motivated throughout the year (although not without some blah moments) and now looking back at 2011 and seeing what I was able to accomplish I’m excited about what 2012 will bring. I’ve set my goals and I’m so ready to take them on now.

I’m grateful to God for so much – family, friends, work, life, health – If I were to make a list it would be miles long.

Here’s wishing all of you a prosperous 2012!

One year and three months ago we got married and had our wedding photographed by the fabulous Michael Norwood Photography {mnpblog.com} – How time flies!

Michael submitted our photos a few months ago and now our wedding is currently featured in the Spring/Summer 2012 issue of The Knot Pennsylvania & Delaware (congrats to Michael – your work is beautiful!). Below is a collage of our feature -

These pretty little cupcakes were made just for me by one of my best friends Vickii while I was in London.
Did I mention she’s the best baker in the whole world?

My new Fuji Film X100 & an update on my film photography ambitions

My new Fuji Film X100 camera which I absolutely love! I got it a couple months ago but haven’t quite had time to play around with it until recently. I blogged a couple photos from it that I took at an engagement session for fun a month or so ago but I didn’t label them as being from this camera.

Why a new mini camera? Well, I usually don’t carry my SLR around for personal pictures because it’s big and bulky and can’t fit into most of my handbags and I gave my little Canon point and shoot to my mum and had been in the market for a new camera for a while. I was super excited to get this based on a friend’s recommendation. I’ve been playing with it recently and it’s amazing. I’ll be posting occasional photographs from it and I will label them accordingly :)

Ignore the dust! lol

In other news…my film photography career is at a stand still.
My pretty little vintage film camera has to be repaired which I only realized after shooting 3 rolls of BLANK FILM :(

Early next year I plan to get it repaired or maybe purchase a brand new film camera so I’ll keep you posted on that end. For now, I’m keeping my little film camera on display at home – She’s too pretty to put away.
